I started playing in tournaments because it was the easiest way to get into action. There was no bullshitting or making games. You put your money up and you played the person that showed up at the table.
Just wondering what it was that made everyone decide they finally wanted to venture out and start playing in some tournaments? Assume the following could be factors:
1) skills increased
2) urging of friends
3) location of tournament
4) cool thing to do
5) why not?
