What makes black boar cues worth the money?

Don't get me wrong, they are very nice looking, and have a nice hit to them, but 4-10k for them just doesn't seem worth it to me.
 
What makes a Ferrari worth the money, when a Nissan GTR is a superior car?

There are less Ferraris made than GTR's.
It takes more time to build a Ferrari.
You get to express your social status better with a Ferrari.
You get all the chicks with a Ferrari.

Supply and demand... The same can be said for $50K watches, $1K wines, $25 cue chalks...
 
Pride of ownership. If I had the $$$ I would buy one or something similar. A BB cue is worth the cost to the buyer. There is a demand.
 
A Black Boar is on my list of things to get if I ever win the lottery. I'll let you know as soon as that happens. But it is definitely on my list.
 
What makes a hot chick better than a fat chick?

Both do the same thing, both cost you a lot of money. One in maintenance the other in food. Close your eyes and turn out the light you don't know the difference. So why be picky?

Hot chick = Black Boar, Fat chick = whatever you're obviously shooting wth. :p

If you ever go to tony's shop...you will know exactly why. You get the best cue and best customer service for the money you paid for and a brotherhood for life! Only if he like you though. I wish I could of met him when I was playing pool full time. I am a officially black boar for life! Awesome cue maker with an awesome attitude!

The people that buy them make them worth it. That is how I see it, plus, they hit good. You can't take your money with you.
