Instead of people talking about rooms closing down all the time.. how about rooms opening up?

I know just north of Smokin Cue in NC there is someone opening up a really great pool hall with diamond 9's if I recall correctly. I'll know more Sunday.

Blue Fox Billiards in Winchester, VA just opened up a couple months ago. Brand new Diamond tables and fantastic menu. Just a beautiful room!

Diamond Billiards just outside of Richmond, VA has just opened up. Really good reviews from what I've heard. I'll be visiting that room in about a month.

The Vault in Lafayette Indiana. Don't know much about them. They have been setting the place up for months now. Can't wait for it to open.

Ricochet's near Baton Rouge

There is a Ricochet's opening soon on Airline Hwy just south or east of Baton Rouge. It is in a new strip mall and I look over at it every time I ride by. No tables in yet, still working on the building. No details but I will get them when it gets closer to complete. I don't know if there is any connection between it and the Ricochet's on Sherwood Forest or not. Is this a chain, franchise, or what?

Billiards Den in Dallas(Richardson?) has been there awhile now but still my favorite "new" place. Seven, eight, and nine footers, snooker table, three cushion table, darts, board games, a nice cafe/grill, pro shop, bar, and more. They seem to have covered all the bases. It is very nice although not my favorite pool hall because it is so diversified. It is probably exactly what I would copy if I were trying to make a living from a pool related business however. Seemed like great folks running it when I visited too.
