This was a set of two Seeker 670 tuna rods.
I'd like to see a pool cue with the wrap interlaced like that.

It isn't exactly easy but isn't that difficult.Dealing with the taper while keeping spacing consistent and the wrap tight. this one was tough:

This was before tightening and trim.
Here is a behind the scenes glimpse showing the tape that the threads are adhered to while wrapping and the trim band that secures the wrap:

Here it is wrapped off without finish:

And with the finish on. I don't like to use a color fixer so the thread is transparent when complete.

It would be easier on a cue because you wouldn't have to mount guides.

I did a custom fishing wrap on a cue....it looked horrendous.
Now don't shoot me.
It was a Frank Paradise Hoppe Titleist. The wrap and the veneers clashed badly. I matched the purple and green perfectly. It was like wearing striped pants with a plaid shirt and checkerboard tie.
Tascarella did a complete refinish for me with green spot, it looked beautiful, played like crap.
I sold that cue for good money around 1998 at Allens expo. Part of the deal was a brand new
predator with 3 pre-cat shafts which I still use today.

Looks great Major. Is that a Calcutta and a 6500 Ambassador?
