What rails do i get?

I am in the process of recovering my diamond red label and wanted to reduce the pockets by half an inch, I inquired about shims but was told that rails was the better way to go. I figured since the table is being recovered then that's not a bad idea as i was also looking to beef up the rails, the only problem after looking up some was that i had no clue as to what rails to get.

Now i don't want to over do the rails so i'm not looking for carom style rails, I noticed that there are different types of rails (i think k33 and 55 or something like that) so my question is.

Q: what rails would you suggest and how do i get them longer in order to tighten up the pockets, do they sell them longer, do they come long and you cut them what is the process about that

Sounds to me like you're going to do the work yourself, if that's the case, I have no problem telling you everything you need to do, just drop that check in the mail for $1,500 and when I receive it well get started:thumbup:

how do i know that you information will be any good? how about you give me some info and if it's good then we'll go from there, say for example what kind of rail to get that sounds like a good start :thumbup:

Rail, or cushion? What's wrong with the cushions that are already on the rails? Have you checked with Diamond yet?
