at work, I use pro-e for solid modeling and then use mastercam
for programming cnc machines. What do you use for programming
the cnc inlay machines?

I use Vector and Bobcad. I have an older version of Bobcad that doesn't have 4th axis and that is why I got Vector.

Mastercam is a cadilac compared to Bobcad. But it has a price tag to match. Bobcad can be purchased for less than $500 and get the job done. The newest ver. 23 is alot better than older versions and includes output for simultanious movemant of x and a or y and a for the forth axis. I have gotten this to work with great results. Stick with Mastercam if you can as it will be better. Feel free to send any free cad drawings my way since bobcad will import them.

Jim.
