what table are these flush pocket casting from?

They're knockoff GC castings, probably being sold as used because they were bought but didn't fit, so now the seller is getting rid of them.

Ah that makes sense, lol I was looking at them in hopes that I could fit them on my GC1. But being cheap knock offs I doubt it's worth the effort. Thanks for the info.

GC castings.

Unless yours are busted, I would look into getting them powder coated, re-chroming or even copper is very expensive. I had my GCII castings redone with antique copper powder coat and they look great. Otherwise Ken Hash at Classic Billiards is your best bet for quality replacements.

Thanks thats a good idea. I am going to start refinishing a GC1 I recently picked up and the casting have the ashtrays and aren't in the best cosmetic shape so I was thinking trying to figure out what to do to save money and have decent looking castings and I liked the idea of flush pockets on a GC1. I definetly like the I dea of powder coating them whats the price range for that?

I have heard that the pocket castings can be shimmed on the early GCs to get them closer to being flush, has anyone tried this or heard of it? I was going to try it on mine but I was too impatient to try table after modified rails, cushions, and cloth. I had to get table back together to see how it played, the project took way longer than expected, I stained and painted the table too, at least it turned out nice.

I have never herd that before, I wonder how that would work... You shold take some pictures of your GC and post. Ya I haven't done many pojects that didn't take longer than expected.I am going to start my refinish here soon on my GC1 it's a beat up white right now with alot of deep scratches, I am not sure if I want to stain it or paint it black yet.
