What tip for this cue...?

Ok, so I'm a newb... but, I have a set of generic sticks for recreational use (not for me personally). This one in particular is missing a tip, and I have no idea where/what to purchase for it...

It's threaded, and reads 'Excalibur' on the side.

It needs a ferrule and a tip. My suggestion is that you take it to a competent local cue repair person and let him do it for you. As far as what tip, there's all kinds, from non-layered (Le Pro, Triangle, Elkmaster, etc..) to layered laminated tips (Moori, Kamui, Onyx, Sniper, Talisman, etc..). The cue repair guy can suggest some choices for you.

Fats is correct in his suggestion. But I might add that what you have is a $20 house cue that would cost you another $20 to repair. Your choice.
