What tip is least likely to miscue?

I like that good old fashioned black tip tapper that lookes like a paddle. Thing is, don't tap the tip with it, just hold it against the tips side at the proper angle and roll the cue on it a bit. You can allow the tapper to crawl up the tip's bevel to the top. After you do that two or three light taps right dead on top. At least thats been how I use em.

I know that these laminated tips really don't like tip piks all that much. They tend to seperate the layers. I've seen a top pro lose his moori just before the A finals as he was using the tip pik on it. I have never touched my tips with any kind of tool once it's shaped. Laminated tips don't need it.

Miscues happen to the best of us and 99.9 % of the time it's our own fault.

This is all I've ever used no matter what kind of tip I have...I'm using a sniper aswell...I don't use the smaller indent near the handle...I don't use the smaller indent near the handle...
