OK, I don't use any high dollar cues. I just play for fun (and am a poor college student so I can't afford any expensive cue). Anyway, when I bought my cue 6 years ago, someone had put a screw in tip onto the shaft, and there was no brass insert for the screw. IE, they drilled a hole straight into the wood and screwed the tip into the wood. Finally, the tip ripped right out. How do I go about replacing a tip? Do I go buy a 15 dollar tip replacement kit? I don't think that will work since there is now an empty hole in the shaft. I guess I could always go buy a new cheapo shaft, but I'm quite fond of the one I have now. Any suggestions appreciated.
