What to Look Forward to in 2008!

I just want to say, I can't wait to see what the new year will bring! Here's a list of things I'm looking out for!!!


1. The best jump cue ever thread. We haven't had one yet this year.
2. Obviously, we must discuss the OB1 shaft. Nobody has brought it up and I wonder why.
3. Has anyone seen Efren's Greatest Shot? I bet you haven't.
4. Stories about Travis Trotter as he embarks on his CueTec sponsored professional career
5. DCP runs 100 balls
6. The IPT gets its first checkbook
7. The APA tells Jeff Sergent enough is enough
8. US Open decides you must rack your own by hand, break from the spot and rack the 9-ball on the footspot.
9. World Championship decides Smorgassbored will break for everyone
10. Cut-Throat named the game of Champions
 
I'm still waiting for the answers to these life altering questions that are still unsolved after all of last year :

1) What's the best _______ ?

And it's most common variation :

2) What _____ should I buy ?

I'm adding to this years list with this one :

1) Please perfect strangers , you tell me what I should like.

And it's most coommon variation :

2) I am incapable of forming an opinion so give me yours.

Let's not forget the inevitable youtube of somebody executing a jump shot just one billionth of an inch away from the obstructing ball.

1. don't own one, probably won't anytime soon (J/B works fine for me), so, don't care which is "best".

8. the US OPEN should go the way of golf's US OPEN - any ball that gets outside the middle 2 feet of the table is buried in deep rough (5+ inches)
9. extend this to ALL play...I need a designated breaker too.

I'm looking forward to these:
#11 Which do you prefer, Masters Blue, Tan or Green chalk?
#12 Do you hold the chalk in your left hand, right hand or are you a balla who puts it between you feet on the floor and spins the stick in it instead?
#13 Do you pay your pool time with cash,a debit card or a credit card?

well we all have to look forward to the thread that asks once again who has the worst stroke - can you beat a dead dog anymore than that one has been.
