What Type Of Chalk Do You Prefer?

We use Blue Master in my pool room, but especially for humid days I prefer the Triangle. Triangle is made by Tweeten's but is a bit more gritty.
Never Heard Of triangle have to look into some thanks

I have been using NIR chalk for a month now and it is messy. It lasts longer than the Blue Diamond stuff I was playing with.

Masters blue in practice, Blue Diamond on matchdays.
I'm a little tight-fisted for using the BD in practice as well.

Still have 9 pieces Masters grey at home, but I find it to dry, hardly holds on a Moori med, not to talk about a Quick

I have an almost full box of old Brunswick Gold Crown chalk and the stuff seems really good. Almost like the Blue Diamond that I have been using.

I've been using some special run chalk that I get from a unnamed source. My understanding is it is made by grinding up leftover rhino foreskin tips with regular masters blue chalk, then baked.

Works great, never miscue. Of course that could be the tip I'm using.

Light green masters. Im the only one I know who prefers it too. The first couple of pool halls I played in regularly had it and I guess I got used too it. And until recently (like a year or 2) all the local ones used it. Now all the local pool halls (except clicks), use blue masters. I cant break the habit though.

I have always been extremely fussy about the chalk I use. I only used the Masters blue chalk.

Recently however, I purchased a gross of Triangle blue from Muellers and I'll never go back to the Master chalk.

Although they are both very good, the Triangle is a tad grittier and I feel it takes to the tip more thoroughly. It gives that nice crisp sound when you chalk and really gets into the leather.

Light colors?

I recently bought a box of Masters Tan for a buddy who has beige carpeting in his gameroom. I didn't find any performance difference from Masters Blue, but hands and cue stayed cleaner. Only problem is that my old eyes can't see the contrast between the chalk and tip, except on a Sniper. For the guys who use Masters Gray, is it easy to see on a tip? I like a very thin, even coat of chalk, so I need to see it clearly.

ive gotten to where i use silver cup....i like the fact that no one tries to pick up your piece of chalk and walk away with it. ;)

Players Choice is the my favorite. They no longer make it. Anyone got a gross of it lying around they want to sell?
