What type of chalk that holds best to Phenolic

What type of chalk that holds best to Phenolic, Or better yet is there a good way to get the chalk to adhere better.

Just make sure your tip is scuffed, I use a piece of sand paper by hand, with no backing, and I just roughen up the tip gently.

I don't think that anybody here will recommend any chalk other than "Masters" around here...

Get a white diamond
Just like a phenolic only holds chalk a lot better. No need to get out the 40 grit sand paper every week.

Don't know about jumping, but I can get lots of draw and spin with my break cue, not that I try anything other than a center ball hit for breaking with it. Since I don't jump balls, I don't have a clue.

I have a fury phenolic jump/break stick and have no problems with blue Masters chalk.

I use blue Masters and my Stinger holds it really well, i haven't needed to scuff it once!

Actually, the BEST solution is to take the shaft to your local cue repair guy. As it is spinning on the lathe, have him take the corner of a utility blade and cut several grooves in the tip surface. I generally start at the center and work my way out...leaving 4 or 5 circle grooves. The grooves allow the tip to REALLY hold chalk well. Easy solution.

How do you like theFury? I am looking into that cue, Platinum gives it a good rating, and it's fairlly inexpensive.
