what type of felt

Anyone who's played pool for more than 10 years has played on felt.

Whenever the symantic snobs came along and got their panties in a wad over using the term.

I’ve had servers like you....you order eggs and get pancakes...
...hey, it’s all food, right?

Reminds me of ordering a pop, then a coke, then a coca-cola in Knoxville.

Literally, everyone I know calls it felt. Even the guys who have been working on tables for 30 years.

If I corrected someone and said it's cloth not felt. I'd get the  and a whatever. In a bar they'd probably ask me if I'd like some wine.

 Yes, the term "felt" has been misused by folks in the pool world for a long time, that is for sure ... but that doesn't make the material covering a pool table felt as some here point out. I appreciate that correcting folks in a pool hall can be a fools errand.

Dave <-- not in a pool hall .... right now anyway
