What vintage cuemakers used half inch solid black collars?

Want to find a nice old 5/16x14 butt with a half inch solid black collar. Who should I shop?

balabushka made a couple. Shouldnt be too hard to find a cheap one :D
 
PhilosopherKing...Interesting cue. I had that exact same cue as my first JW. Other than no points, that was Stroud's "entry level" cue. I paid $150 with two shafts and a Fellini case! Bill made it for me in 1975 and delivered it to me at the Burlington IA tournament. That's the cue that I beat Keith McCready with when he was 17! Mine had red veneers instead of orange...but that one might be faded red. Hard to tell from the pictures. :grin:

Check eBay. Quality "unknown" vintage cues frequently pop-up. Here's one for example ;)

errrr, 5/16x14 describes a pin, What are you talking about "butt". Cuemakers will put any material you want at the butt.
