What would be a good spot? Efren v Sigel

Depends on the table they are playing on and the length of the race..

On the average big ass buckets for pockets tables the pro's usual use, I'd say Efrin could spot the 3 games on a race to 10. On a tighter table, like a Diamond, it'd be more like 3 to 7.....

On 9-ball it'd be the 7 all day long on buckets and could probably spot him the Orange Crush on a Diamond....

1 pocket, Efrin could spot him 10/5 and make him hate it...

It is abvious that you dislike Mike, but don't quit your day job. You would not last past this match as a bookmaker.
Efren would get crushed in all your games.

Why do people keep saying 6? I thought Sigel won 3 U.S. Opens.

Strickland has won more U.S. Opens, and did so in a tougher era. The 1990's saw a huge leap in talent and skill level over the 1980's. I consider Strickland to be the greatest 9-baller of all time, even more so than Efren despite the COM (I have the complete videos).

Efren, the same age as Sigel - is considered by many to be the greatest living pool player ever. And is doing so, as a senior, in the most competitive time pool has ever seen. Efren plays all the games well.

To his credit, Sigel in my opinion, was the best transition player. He was the best mix of straight pool player and 9-ball player, in a time when the pool world was abandoning straight pool for 9-ball. Many of the straight pool guys didn't do so well moving over to 9-ball...many of the 9-ball guys are horrible at straight pool. Sigel did both very well. However, the 9-ball scene he was involved in was primitive by today's standard.

Sigel cannot compete in the current field. He retired at the ideal time.

8-ball might allow him to linger on a bit longer. This IPT thing is the same for him, as what it is for the HOF'ers and many of the other KT choices...a "thank you" appreciation last run, one last moment in the spotlight, for a life of pool.
