What would you do here??

9' table, tournament. You have this layout. It's not exact to what it was, I can't remember the exact placement. But, the key principles are all here, and the changes do not affect what should, or can be done here. Edit: I do have a mistake in the layout, the 3 does not go past the 8 to the bottom corner. Just figure moving the 8 up a little, and the 3 a little closer to the rail. Sorry!

I like the 2-ball in the lower left with draw.Depending on the thinness of
the cut you can go 2 rails around the 3-ball or one rail through the 6-9
hole.Lot of options after that 'cause the 4-6 is close enough to dead.

But notice the safe option....slow roll the 2-ball towards the 5-ball...
..gets a lot of hooks...
...Yeah,i'm nasty

I'm awfully tempted to play safe and bank the 2 back up table, HOPEFULLY leaving it on the head rail, and leave the cb over by the 8.

If shape on the 3 wasn't so difficult, I would go for the run out, but there is a high-possibility of a hook/sellout, so I would probably do the above.

Just to be different:

Make the 2B in upper right corner, pull the CB with low left into the gap between the 4B and 7B. Cut the 3B into upper right corner. Try to hold CB for shot at 4B into right side pocket. If you can't hold it and it goes to far to shoot 4B into side then shoot the dead combo4>6. After that it's a standard out.

(Don't you love how I blithely throw in the phrase ,"Standard out," as if I have ever shot good enough to consider any out, "Standard.")

I think the only way out here is if you use a Kamui tip.
