Plus everything is so small on the TV screen whereas bowling has big balls, large pins and it is simple to watch and simple to understand, pool is the opposite.

kildegirl. YOUR WHOLE DIATRIBE WAS ABOUT YOU NOT PLAYING POOL. YOU ONLY WATCH POOL. NO WONDER YOU ARE BORED TO DEATH. YOU NEVER PLAY POOL. WHY DO YOU WATCH BORING POOL????? YOU LIVE TO PLAY THE GAME. THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.[/QUOTE said:
You have misread my post. I play every day. Pool is boring for the rest of the world.

Mine was no "diatribe"; when I post one, you will know it. Read again.

Like I have stated before, the bigger the playing field, the bigger the audience! It also doesn't help when the espn announcers state "...its has taken YEARS for _______ to make those kinds of shots..." Hey, people will participate, or at least try to, if the learning curve is doesn't require "years" of dedication just to play at a competitive level.....I really hate comparing poker to pool, but in this case the learning curve is next to zero compared to pool. Thats mostly why poker has taken off so big...
