Whats a better spot in 9 ball??

Assuming you are the player giving up the spot? Without question 8-7. That one extra game that each of you need represents a larger % of his total than yours. Hope that's not too confusing.

As was already mentioned, 8-7 is better for the player giving the game. Essentially you are giving one game on the wire so the longer race makes the free game less significant. As an extreme example, would you rather give one game racing to 100 (100-99) or racing to 2 (2-1)?

Best spot in 9-Ball

Was just wondering what is a better spot to give in 9 ball, 7-6 or 8-7??

Well it is according to how well you play, if you run out alot getting a wild ball for a spot is very good, if you do not run out so much getting the last two or last three is better because they are there all the time for ya!

If your playing a guy that runs out alot , get the breaks, that way he can only beat you one game at a time, instead of stringing racks with winners breaks.

There are many different spots in 9-Ball, these are just a few that can help or hurt a player.

If I need a big spot, I ain't playing anyway!
