What's a good playing cue?

I want to know what's a good playing cue and I am talking a bout a brand and not a cue maker's cue. I have shot with Espirtu, Jacoby, Norwela, Scruggs and Meucci cues and they are good shooters and all but pricey for even a shooter.

I want to rid all my collections of cue and go with a player. I don't want to be that guy, with a nice cue.

I am thinking more along the lines of companies that invest in technological advancement. Cues like Predator or one of those Lucais Hybrids.....are there any brands or models that fall into this category.

Something like these particular systems...thanks in advance.

I would look at McDermott cues with either their G-Core or Intimidator shafts as my first choice. Next keeping to American brands I would also look at Viking, Pechauer, and Jacoby cues. They all make great cues for the money, and you can get into any of them for a reasonable price. And they will all give you a great player cue. But McDermott comes out on top for their shaft technology.
