What's In The Box Cue ID Contest

i had #17 as a jacoby, and maybe #5 as an albrecht (i might have had a hint on that one). it's #10 that is really bugging me.

yes jamie, i did see them, but to tell the truth i had a few "pops" so that evens it out. for some reason i want to say #10 is a pfd but that is a guess.

Got no Drexler cues. If I did, it would be Koa or Desert Ironwood. Paul makes a great playing cue and has some superb materials. I just haven't gotten to Marlboro yet.

okay, one last set of guesses and im out. (5am comes quick here on the east coast)

10 - jacoby (i knew there was one there, it has to be it)
17 - mali (i'm pretty sure there is a mali in there somewhere)

Guy gets the nod for Jacoby. Sorry, my first four prong was a Mali but I have not owned one since. Got any box Mali cues for sale? I'd be all over that action!

bogey had one or two for sale at great prices and i should have grabbed one. the stainless joints threw me (sorry 8-ball rat). well, i thought for sure there were one or two mali's so i'm really guessing from here on out. c'mon jamie and mamono, still 3 left.

Szamboti and ibuycues are probably the only guys who will know the cuemaker for #4 and #17. I discussed the concept of #4 with Will and the Gus Szamboti tribute cue with Barry. Both cues are made by the same maker. He is the best kept secret in Ohio and builds a great cue for short money.

As for #7, there are two different cue company names that would be acceptable answers. That is a hint all to itself. I am rooting for Mamono who may figure it out if he studies the butt sleeve well enough!

I'm going to have to guess 7) Joss, I've been rolling that one in my head for a while.

... And yes... I'm still mulling over the last ones!

Is # 7 a Nova cue and #17 Bender

I have never seen a Nubbs Wagner box cue, though I'd love to have one in malachite from him. Creative guess.

Mike Bender, to me, is cuemaking's "KING OF RINGS." I love his ringwork. If he will accept an order from me for a box cue, the day may come that I have one...but I don't have one now.
