I finally got my lathe going, so the next step is to mess around with threading tenons and I want to do some steel jointed sneakys too. So where is the best place to buy dies for tenons and joints? I think I would rather have steel dies than aluminum, and since ill be threading with a die, would it be better to use a coarse thread like 5/8 - 11? As per the rules, please pm me any supplier names. I dont want the powers that be yelling at me again, lol.

pm sent as requested.
The two standard sizes for the stainless joints are 5/8X11 and 5/8X18.

For wood, don't use a die. Use a tenon threader instead. A die will eat your wood like wavy potato chips. Personally, I use the 5/8- 18 TPI.
