And that got me to thinking about a question I was going to pose on ABZ to see if I would get anybody to respond seriously or scientifically to it:

My friend - he knows a lot about pool - was telling me that my problem is that I am left-handed but using a cue for right-handers. He pointed out that the irish linen was wrapped around my cue in a clockwise direction, which is correct for right-handers, but it should be counterclockwise for a left-handers. Can anyone recommend a cuemaker who will properly install irish linen for left-handers?

My friend - he knows a lot about pool - says I can improve my rhythm by laying the chalk down on its side rather than chalk side up. Chalk side up means my fingers have to turn the chalk to chalk my cue, but chalk on its side means it will go right to the tip without any unnecessary motion. He says Efren lays the chalk on its side - what do you think?

Blue Diamond chalk, of course!
 
My friend - he knows a lot about pool - says I should shave the hair off my right arm to cut down on air resistance for my nine ball break. He says Larry Nevel has done this, along with the hair on his head, and look at the results he gets. What do you think?

I am announcing the creation of a cue which will revolutionize the game of pool. It is called the Adjusta-Balance Cue.
