Need help diagnosing this problem on my Valley table. The slate has dropped down at least 1/4" in one of the corner pockets - on the long rail but is still normal on the short rail - close to the pocket. SLATE is NOT cracked or broken. This "drop" extends about 1 foot towards the side pocket then tapers back up to normal. Did a shim fall out or something like that??? Thanks for the help!

Pull the rails off, and lift out the slate.
Sounds like one of the aluminum cross beams might have dropped on one side. An almost impossible occurrence without some kind of extra weight placed on the table.
Is the cabinet level? I've seen similar with tables that are not level.
Hello. Yes, it is level. Will be pulling the slate off here in the next couple days to see what is going on. Thanks, however, for your suggestion.
