What's the Value of this TS cue?

A few years ago, I would have said $800. But I have noticed a trend in Scruggs cues creeping up there. I sold an ivory ring, Hoppe style scruggs about 2 years ago with 4 veneers, ebony on birdseye, stainless joint like new with two shafts for $950.

Since yours has fancy rings, and it looks ike a great cue, with todays prices I would be asking over $1000 for it. Maybe $1100 - $1200.

I think Scruggs cues are going to go up more for the next couple of years, I really do.

Thanks for the replys!

A local friend of mine is interested in the cue. I was thinking the cue could be worth more....but, $1K maybe is a fair price

It has a piloted joint. I don't think the cue has seen more than a 1/2 dozen racks ;)

Thanks again for the feedback :D

age and lack of veneers I thought about $950, what a new cue from T.S. costs means nothing to me in estimating the market value of a older cue, but that's just me.......... Or mine are worth big bucks as they are level 5 cues, with lots of ivory inlays with premium grade shafts
I agree with your estimate for a used cue without veneers and inlays.
