Whats wrong with this website?

Hi Mom!

I go to many web site, and find that AZB. has more tech related issues than any others. Big or small.
Why?
Just recently, I notice that the posts I want to read,take forever to open, and just freeze up my computer? so I go test other sites to see if its my computer or just this site. It is not my computer.
So why does this particular site suffer so much difficulty? when much larger sites with way more goings on have so few? IE: craigslist or Ebay.
Can we help?

Think the site is very busy, and also it could be like the garden hose that is only about to accomidate so much flow of water. Too many trying to get on AZB, and the server is overworked.

You say there is nothing wrong with your computer and you are probably right, but, if your computer is a Commodore 64 you might consider an upgrade. On my machine AZ comes on at the same speed as any other site.

I like my ol' 64. besides, the new Commador 65 is just the same thing as my 64, but with more chrome!

I only have trouble loading azb posts, nothing else. just azb.
But I am on a different computer right now, and am not having any trouble at all?
Net card??? Sighhh...????

As I just logged in, all the posts are marked read, and even the ones I haven't read, there is no view first unread sign to click on.
Anyone else see this???

Edit: Since I posted in this thread, now I have a view first unread.

Edit: Ok, back-buttoned to the main page, everything seems all right now. Don't get it.

Not sure if this is the problem but every now and then there is a slowdown due to server overload on AZB. The page may take a while to load. When I see a page not loading quickly I just hit the refresh button and it loads up like normal.

Searches can be a bit flaky here too. None of the other forums I frequent attempt to keep this many posts on the main pages instead of archiving some. It is nice to have it all here but administrators other places have found that to lead to problems. I think the site might be more stable if they reduced the size of the database but that is just a guess. Should run faster also.

No problems here. Everything loads very quickly. Just remember that computers are a communist plot to drive people crazy...AND IT'S WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!
