i use 12.75 mm, give or take. is just what i got accustomed to as this this is the standard diameter for meucci for liek the past 20+ years. its also the standard for predator and ob-1. i've tried 13mm and its ok. and joss's 13.25 mm but its just too thick for me. feals like a tree branch.
I always thought that was standard size.

Predator Z, 11.75mm. The 314 seems big as hell now. Can still shoot with it but I definately prefer the Z.
