i'm looking for opinions about eddie's cues from people that have his cue and can break and run at least a 3 pack in 8 ball or 9 ball.

how does the cue feel? how long have you had it? etc.

Looks like you have narrowed the choices down considerably with that qualification. I'm interested to hear some feedback as well, his quilted maple cues are beautiful.

yup, i just want someone who plays at my level to give me honest opinions, because i agree that his quilted maple cues are some of the best i have seen.

I'm a big fan of his cues, and have a small collection. I've even considered starting a grass roots fan club.

But my high run in eight ball is a two pack, that would have been a three pack if I didn't scratch after sinking the eight ball. :embarrassed:

Sorry I can't help with your evaluation as I don't quite meet your criteria.

Good luck finding someone.

BTW this is a weak attempt at humor as I have ran over a three pack in bumper pool, but with a house cue!

I have one of Eddies cues yes I can string 3 or more. Eddie was one of the Few cuemakers that built exactly what I asked for. I wanted a unique taper design on the butt. I luv the cue its a true merry widow I had a jump break and a shooting cue made (several years ago) from one piece of Jarrah. Will soon have another shooting cue made (think bacote this time) with a slight tweak on my design. But I knew what I wanted and was very specific on dimensions. He will truly build a custom cue and not shove a set taper or joint pin down your throat like other makers trying to build sticks that all hit the same. He undersands when you go to a custom maker your looking for an edge built for you. He's a good player himself and is primarily concerned about playability. Yes he is very outspoken and passioate but I don't find that negative. Its what make Eddie "Eddie"
