When did Adam begin making their Balabushka cues?

90s was the first time I saw one...they are Balabuske 'tribute' cues...
...and George's wife recieved money for every one sold...she consented to the deal.
I've never seen one that was'nt SS jointed....but they are good cues based on original Buska designs.
They made the same cues without the signature and called them the Hall of Fame cues. Designs were a bit different from the ones with the signatures, but otherwise they were built identical. I have one like in the link below. Mine was made in Japan, but I'm not sure they are now.

I've had mine for a couple years, or more, but it only has been played just a wee bit to test it out. It is in MINT condition and I bought it because I knew ADAM Japan was getting out of the business of making them.

This was how mine was described when I bought it:
Hall of Fame Series pool cue with a birdseye maple forearm with ebony points with maple, orange, green and black veneers. Each point has a three mother of pearl notched diamond inlays. The butt is ebony with four mother of pearl notched diamond inlays. The wrap is white with black spec Irish Linen. The joint is piloted stainless steel with a 5/16 x 14 pin with nickel silver rings. This cue comes with one shaft with a 13mm pro taper and a Le Pro leather tip.
This cue is manufactured by Adams Custom Cues Japan, who also manufacturers the Helmstetter and Balabushka line of cues.
I didn't buy mine from the link shown above, but I notice their link doesn't mention where theirs are manufactured.
