When is Pool the "Purest" the most real?

Do you think that the purity of Pool is at its peak "most real" when:

  • When the competition is during gambling only:

  • When "no gambling?" but "pride" is on the line.

Do you think that the purity of Pool is at its peak "most real" when:

1 When the competition is during gambling:
2 When the player is competing with himself trying to play his very best "no gambling?" but his pride is on the line.

 
Purity of play is at it's finest when the equipment plays true, loud music isn't playing over stadium speakers and every fool in the house isn't walking by the table babbling on his cell phone, while twirling his cue like an airplane propeller.

I used to play some a long time ago with a guy who was Schizophrenic and he used to twirl his house cue like Tom Cruise. Between delusions the guy had a lot of sense! Played pretty good too! Never once did he whine when he got beat either! All in all he was a grade above some of the local characters! He was crazy but he had manners.
 
It's all about me. When I'm in stroke and want the win. Both scenarios apply. That's when it is at it's purest.

I can usually tune everything out and am just in my zone. Money, pride, tournament, it's all the same feeling.

Go to the test area and play with it. Look to the bottom of the New Thread and you'll see the options then choose how many questions you want and it will let you do it.
