When is the next big tournament like the White Diamond? I still say these in house sports bar tournament with calcutas and/or high entries are the way to go for the pros and top open players. I think the next one should get there rules straight on the break and racking and enforce it.
All players for the final 8 should have to give out there cell # and where they are staying. If one player is not there 1 hour before match time they can have one of there people beat the bushes for him. I know it's a pain in the ass for the venue, but if backers, players, stakehorses,, and sweaters and fans feel any business is being done, in any way, this won't last much longer.
About 50 of these high dollar tournaments a year around the country and I believe pro pool will start to grow again. Johnnyt
