im right at the last year of genxers and feel like a lot of under 40’s feel entitled these days. Thats what i always tell my woman about her employees and it’s true most of the time about the bad ones. They think they can play on their phones or talk on them while they assist customers. And you can’t put them in their place or you’ll get a write-up. Etc etc. I used to get reamed out if I wasn’t doing the job I was paid for. Customers first!

That's what I mean, people who can't tolerate influencers or having their life drip away watching someone regurgitate common knowledge in the form of some video, probably find their way to what they need to know in many other ways. This being one of them.

For some people the concept of comment/reply requires too much actual thought lol

Some people don't like anyone.
Some people like everyone.

World's made of all sorts, or something along those lines.

I think AZB wins in a landslide if we held a Mosconi cup with the best 5 people AZB can put up vs. the best 5 people r/billiards can put up. I’m probably a 5th percentile player here, and 75th percentile over there.

But practically coming to blows over (checks notes) aiming systems? That part seems fairly unique to AZB. Some posters will use “low post count” as an insult, which seems absolutely counterproductive to growing the forum and bringing new people in.
 
Looking at the big picture I am thinking that the backlash in the younger generations will be to shrug electronic entertainment a bit and come back to things like pool. Kids are already starting to get tired of their social media society. A lot don’t like their generation because it is hard to make real friends and connections. As justnum indirectly pointed out, there is far too much drive towards synthetic lube when the customers true need is for natural lube.

The best way to learn about engines is to own one. Coming from an engineer.
