where are these cue makers located?

hey, i'm looking for local cue makers as i want to order a custom cue in the near future.. i'm really hoping for somebody i can drive to.. even if its a few states away, i'm not too worried. i konw mike stacey is just a little north of me, and schuler is in chicago. who else is close to southern indiana within a days drive? if i could leave at 5 or 6 am and make it back late, thats ok by me.

also since i have no idea where the following are located(or if theyre even in the states at all) can somebody help me on it?

richard black, richard harris, Ernie of Gina, Ned Morris, and Carmeli(if he's still taking orders)
 
also, cue makers located in florida, or in route to florida would be fine, as i'll be heading that way in december.

Richard Black - Humble, Tx.
Ernie Gutierrez - North Hollywood, Ca
Ned Morris - Desert Hot Springs, Ca
Ariel Carmeli - Corona, Ca

don't know a Richard Harris, but if you mean Ted Harris, he's in Hollywood, Fl.

Well, let's see if this is a help:
  • Richard Black is located in Texas.
  • Richard Harris is in Winchester, Ohio. Go through a dealer for him because he quit taking orders early last year.
  • Ernie Gutierrez is in California (Los Angeles area, I think).
  • Ned Morris is also in California though I don't know where.
  • Ariel Carmeli - California too. Last I checked he was taking orders. Didn't think his demand was so high he'd close his list.

As for cuemakers in Florida, there's Pete Ohman (Omen Cues), Dennis Searing, Bob Manzino, Paul Dayton, Ted Harris, John Showman, Arnot Wadsworth, Chris Nitti, Rick Howard, Murray Tucker. Now some of these guys may have moved away from Florida in the past year or two and some of them may not even be taking orders anymore. (I don't think Murray is).

Some of these guys are members here:
Showman = 'merrylane'
Arnot Wadsworth = 'Arnot Q'
and I think Ted Harris and Dennis Searing are too but I can't remember their screen names.

As mentioned above, Chris Nitti is in Orlando and makes a Great cue. I am very picky about cues and makers but I was impressed enough last time I was over there to order a very highend cue myself. He sit down while I designed what I wanted in a cue and was happy to accept my design to build.

From pharoah's list in florida, I would give Pete Omen some heavy consideration. Every single Omen I've hit with played super nice, and I think he makes one of the prettiest plain jane cues out there...something about his ringwork really stands out.
