Where can i buy milk dud tips???

I will let you in on a little secret. I make my own Milk Duds and they play pretty sporty.

I still buy mine from Dawgs Duds.
So here I am sitting on my own Duds and I am using his. Funny how things work sometimes.

Hahahaha, pretty funny eh. Thats life in the fast lane.

i think either a lepro or a triangle tip soaked in milk then compressed in a vise.

they play very sporty and hold their shape and chalk very well.

Been using PoolDawg8's milkdud tips for years now, and I've yet to see even ONE problem with any of them. You hit with one of those tips, you'll never want to use another. I got a handful of them from him every year at the expo.

bbb, I don't think ykndoit was giving you bad info. From what I've read here, milk duds can be made with pretty much any single-layer tip, Triangle and LePro have been used by others, Pooldawg8 happens to use Elkmaster. The formula is not hard and fast as to either the tip or the ingredients used for soaking.
 
Yeah the link didn't explain anything other then he was selling milk duds that soaked and pressed for days. Ykndoit explained what they were I don't think it would matter what kind of tip you start with.

I do my own milkduds and love them. My press allows me to set the force exactly and so I can vary from soft to break tip whatever you need. But I do no big production, max. 2 per week. And I use a pressform. Just a hobby for me and other crazy ...

the "I think" was directed towards the brand of tip soaked in milk. but not the process which was a very vague one so Petro had an idea without going into great detail. my bad for not getting the brand of pooldawg8's milk duds tips correct.
