Where can I get a cue case fixed

I am pretty disgusted right now. My cues are not the most expensive in the world but I've got about $1000+ wrapped up in my break and shooting cues. So I went looking for a case that I thought would protect them. I bought a Vincitore 2X4 case that ran me somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 from a vendor at a tournament. Of course I don't have the vendors card or name any longer. This is the biggest piece of crap I could have found. Almost every connection point for every strap has pulled completely out of the case. I've tried to get it fixed. I've taken it to a cobbler and a company that makes leather products but they tell me it either can't be fixed (without tearing it completely apart) or it's going to cost more than the case did originally.

Does anyone know where I can get this fixed? Another strap broke last night:mad:

I think your best bet is to just scrap that case and go with something a little more high quality, i ve had my one and only experience with vincitore cases and they are junk all the wway around. Go with Justis, It's George, Instroke, or Whitten, you get what you pay for with all of these

Sorry to hear about your dilema....... if they were charging 250 for a vincitore...... they ripped you off big time. You can get an instroke for less than that.
As far as fixing it, they are probably correct, the leather has to be off the case to be able to rivet the strap back on. If you have the means, buy a better case (porper etc for under 100). If not, you will just have to carry it by the handle instead and hope it doesnt fall off :(

Try a local Auto shop that recovers seats, Convertible tops, and stuff like that.
If you are in an area that has a Marina, try some of the Boat shops as well.

Yeah, when I bought it I had just gotten back into playing again and I really didn't know much about the product. The case is great looking and it looked well made when I bought it but it sure faded fast.

I'll try that it hadn't crossed my mind.

Try 2 or 3 different shoe repair places...sometimes you just have to find the right repairman who'll do the job.
Next time buy a quality handmade case that will last a lifetime...Whitten or Justis.;)

That's what I thought I was doing then. I've learned my lesson, I thought I could trust this guy but sometimes the bull gets you. Like I said I had just gotten back into playing and I didn't do the research. The problem is mine no doubt about it, and I am getting rid of it.

Maybe my wife could use it as a vase or something.

I'd say get a leather Instroke. Also, show us a photo, so we don't make the same mistake.

John Barton does case repair, so maybe he can help you out. You can probably get a hold of John (onepocketchump) at Sterling Games.

How old is the case? Get with Chrisonline maybe he can do a warrantee exchange. J&J distributes Vincitore. Or get with the people you bought it from. You were definately overchared for what you got. Let alone the defects. I don't believe Instroke has any connection with Vincitore. I sell this 2X4 that is done with no logo. I have been told it is produce by the same manufacture that does Instroke. It is not the shiny leather like Vincitore. I get $140 delivered and have had no problems.
