Anybody know where i can get somewhat recent photos of current players? I would like a few to frame and put up in my poolroom. Have not started the room yet so i have time. The photos do not have to be autographed but that would be ok if they were. Thanks.

Cue Hunter,
I recently got 70 photographs (8 x 10) for my pool room. Most are black and white, some are color. The signed ones are not originals, but rather copied from a signed photograph. The quality is not super high, but certainly adequate. I ordered them from www.newdeco.com, they were shipped promptly and I was satisfied with the quality. Their selection is HUGE - any old poolplayer or actor who was ever photographed with a cue or pool table. If you order in large quantity you can finagle a discount. Good luck.

I ordered a bunch from them also. However, my requirement on all of the photo's is that they're in a shooting position over the cue ball and that cuts my selection back. Younger players are hard to find. You can go to Allison Fisher's site and purchase a good one there as well as Ewa's. If you want the new breed, you need to go to a tournament with a good camera and just get them to pose for you while they're practicing or goofing around. Otherwise, contact one of the photographer's that publish for the magazines, like Diane Hoppe, but they want big bucks for each photo. ($25-$30 or more).

D'maker,
I suppose that requirement is okay from a pool fanatic's standpoint, but did you see the photo's of Neve Campbell and Julia Roberts?? They may not be shooting, but they are hot!! I'm worried about you, son, if you didn't want one of those photo's. If I was enough of a computer geek I would find some way to post them for you. Come to think of it, how am I going to find an 8 x 10 of ZigZagMaster's avatar??? (I don't care if she's not shooting).

Dianne Hoppe has all you want I am sure-Mike Howerton has her Email. When she actively sold them, i thought they were a tad expensive. I remember a Kid Delicious autographed photo was $60. It was an original.

Willie, Willie...how you have such little faith in me...I do not understand.
The photo of Neve is a hot one, but tame in comparison to the one's that I have on my "For Men Only Art Wall". And they are not in a shooting position only. I bent the rules on that one. Go to this site for a sample:

http://www.slike.co.yu/celebrities/Elisa Bridges/page_01.htm

Also - http://www.tigerproducts.com/poster.htm

I have 14 pictures of her on the wall in the "Men's Section". Try pulling that one over on YOUR wife and getting away with it! I AM THE MAN!!

Do a search on her in google (Elisa Bridges) and you'll probably find all of the one's I have eventually. I have them on the highest quality photography paper also and they're as sharp as could be in 8X10.

BTW, the other one's that I have of her only get hotter, and hotter, and better, and hotter, and there's nothing that's trashy or obscene. Just HOT!!

DM are you adressing me Willee (William Lee) of WilleeCue or did you make a typo?
I guess I need to rename myself to Will-Lee-Cue.

For women's pro pool photos, let me suggest the picture pack that includes one photo of each of the WPBA top 20 based on 1/1/2004 ranking. It can be purchased through the pro shop on WPBA.com and is a very good value.

why not just find a pack of the old trading cards of all the players of 10 years ago. the players all posed and gave their personal info for them. they were printed up like baseball cards and they were not a big hit. so there are some around somewhere. you could take them and put them in a collage all on 1 large board...btw.. the players never got paid for them........mike

poolplayer pics

diana hoppe has the best pics around.you can get some autographed or not.she has a set of black and whites that are signed that are bueatiful.they are costly but the work she put in to get them signed was worth it plus they are limited.i guarantee you will love all of her stuff.pool pics by hoppe if interested.

Ditto on Hoppe! She is a great photographer, really captures the players. You can reach her through Mike Howerton or you can e-mail me and I will forward it to her. I don't want to post her e-mail address on the net.

Have you ever checked out Getty Images? I did a quick search for Jeanette Lee and found some that you would probably like.

A search of Getty images for Earl Strickland, Efren Reyes and Buddy Hall turned up nothing for them. J lee has "crossed over" but no one else has. Not a good site to find pool people
