His name is Gerald Huber. (Humphrey) 1-504-451-9603

I gave my copy away. All fiction...no real names. Any old timer can tell a similar story and all it will cost you is a cup of coffee. I thought I got robbed after reading that book. (Just my opinion)

**apparently there are 2 books by the same name. The information I "had" here before I replaced it with those dots above pointed to the wrong book.

Haven't read the book, so I can't say. But if you are/were lucky enough to have hung out in a real pool hall that's been around a while, those cup-of-coffee stories from those old timers are ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS!

I don't know when it happened to me, but somewhere in the past I fell in love with the nostalgia of this game. I think now, I love the background/settings/people & stories more than I love the actual game. Maybe that hustlin' kid in me is just gettin' old...

The folks and places that pool gestates within are the kind of stuff you couldn't dream up. It's just to romantic, in a sense.

Damn this game has me!
