FTR, when I was using Z2 shafts, I could spin the cueball better than with any other shaft I had ever used. The thin, whippy (read: light) shaft made my cue a tad butt-heavy. Now, was it the tip diameter or the balance that made it easier to impart spin on ther cueball, I don't know. But....I like to think it was the diameter.
