Where r u lookin when you pull the trigger?

When I pull the trigger, Invariably, I am looking at the cross ahirs in the riflescope.

However,

When I begin a stroke, I am looking down th line I want the cue ball to run, focusing at the object ball, but looking down the line.

because he's probably looking at the rail that he needs to contact in order to hit the OB. In other words.. the rail becomes the object before the object ball

Unless I'm completely wrong and just made a fool of myself?

You're right, the rail becomes the target "object"

I don't use the ghost ball for aiming, I find a 1/8" spot on the ball that goes through the middle of the poctet I'm shooting at. When I am locked on the spot on the QB I want to hit I find the spot on the OB and when I feel I have it (maybe 3 strokes) I shoot. Up until I started reading threads about it on AZ, I never really gave it a thought in years. The first time I read about what do you look at last it threw my shotmaking off for a week LOL.
