Where should I go to become a Pro.

If you're really serious about getting some pool competition, I'd recommend you get a new gf in the Tokyo area, because that's where the all action is ;)

I agree with Vic and make sure she is aware that pool is #1 on your priority list, if not then forget about becoming a pro.

Vic, I posted a 7-0 pro version 8-ball in the ghost challenge. Gonna work on the 10-ball pro version this week and take that spot as well.

The Philippines seems as good a place as any to sharpen your skills under pressure from great players.

So, go there for as long as your money/visa allows. And then do it again, and again.

Instead of becoming a pro he could become broke in the PI. I've seen videos of Efren getting weight from complete unknowns in 10 ball. If he can survive in that place he should emerge as a solid player.

Cost of living is cheap but a European with cash who wants action - there would be a line out the door of guys wanting some of that.

Let me know if you come to northern japan. I run a pool hall up here and if you let me know far enough in advance, I might be able to rent a room out on the first floor of the building for cheap.

Are you in Sendai? I have good friends in Sendai:smile: How is the pool scene there?

15 minute shinkansen ride from sendai. The amateur pool scene is pretty decent here, there aren't any current pros at the moment, but there are many former pros and a few people who have won national amateur tournaments.
