I just got a Kopy Kat GTF... They are to be the vinyl GTF cases ,,but they dont look like vinyl or feel like it. I was very surprised of just how good they really look...<< :thumbup: ED
Is it possible to get a 2x4 Kopy Kat without the pockets
I only seen them available at Indy cue, and Seyberts , all thats posted in 2x4 have the pockets. << ED
Where can you find the cases with no latch?
Only by special order.
You can order through Seyberts or through Roy. We are currently making another order for Roy and I can include any special orders in the shipment.
But the window is closing because the current batch will ship in about 2-3 weeks.
This is very expensive vinyl. It's called PU which means polyurethane. Not very sexy but essentially it means a much better structure in the chemical makeup of the material.
This is the same material that you would find on shoes, boots, Car seats and furniture where the quality is high but the material is not leather. In fact, it's all you find on car seats when part of the seat is real leather and the rest is vinyl because it can be made to be indistinguishable from leather and perfectly color and texture matched to the real leather parts.
Anyone can go to various websites and find wholesale prices of the material. The vinyl used on a lot of cases is PVC and the price is about five times less than PU.
At the 2010 International Cue Collector's Show I put up one of these next to several leather ones and no one thought it wasn't leather. I personally really like this material and most cases we make using it come out looking really nice.
