Cheap 2x2 cases are always available on ebay, both oval and square. Easy enough.
Those parts are usually produced and sold in volume to case makers, so buying one or two is a little difficult. There isn't any retail source for that, or at least none that I have found after literally years of searching.
If you google, you can buy oval carbon fiber and aluminum tubing retail. Oval plastic tubing is hard to find.
Watch Ebay and you can get a broken case for dirt cheap or even a new one for around 30 bucks or so. Strip it for the plastic.
I only know this because I have played around with making cases. JB always offers excellent advice. Trust me on that, please. He has never steered me wrong. He has been there and done that for anything and everything with case making.
If you want to form your own oval tubes you can buy some PVC pipe and heat it with a heat gun and press it into an oval with a couple of boards. Not too difficult. But honestly, finding a couple cheap cases to strip for tubes is quick and easy.
