Where to buy used cues

I know this forum has a section to buy used cues, but I can not see buying an expensive cue without feeling or hitting with it. Does anyone have any suggestions where to look for good used cues?

Try the VF billiards expo if your on the east coast, the DCC if you can get to Kentucky. I am sure you can get to try a cue before you buy.

If you want to be able to hit with a cue, your local pool hall is the best option. There is usually someone looking to sell a cue here and there. Ask the person at the counter if they know of anyone looking to sell.
