I'll be going on R&R Leave in Arlington, TX, around the Ballpark. Are there any nice pool halls or pro shops close?

thanks

Jim

Go to Clicks, it's approximately 2 miles from the Ball Park. There are some good players there. There are 2 good Cue Makers that live in Arlington.

how to get there?

send me a pm with your email address & I'll send you a sketch. You could look at mapquest

here's their contact Info;

CLICKS BILLIARDS
2701 MAJESTY DR
ARLINGTON, TX
(817) 640-7686

Thanks

Thanks Ceebee, I can look it up on mapquest. Who are the cue makers in that area? We're planning on going to Hawley's Pro Shop, do you know how far that is from Arlington? If not, I'll look it up too. I'm not real familiar with the DFW area.

if your around the ballpark youll be real close to Clicks, another poolroom is Rustys on s.cooper 24 hr place and used to be pretty good action 3 9 footers and a bunch of 8 footers

Yeah, check Rusty's out. There are always good players on the 9-footers. No problem finding action either. There's also a non-smoking section (good if you travel with kids). Good atmosphere. That's my bar.

Rusty's was my home away from home for many yrs when I lived in TX and the owner is a good friend of mine so my opinion is a little biased. Another place to check out, if it's still there, is the Fox and the Hound. I enjoyed going there sometimes. It is/was an upscale, exspensive yuppie place but it was a nice change of pace from the regular pool halls. Either way be sure to stop by Rusty's and check it out. :)
