Where to play in san francisco

If you are in south SF by the airport, there is the Great Entertainer in San Mateo with gold crown tables (3 series I think). I used to work there in high school when they were located in Concord.

If it's still open, Town & Country Billiards in Daly City would be another airport close place.

The Billiard Palacade and T&C were my first two legit pool halls growing up in SF. Used to also play at Family Billiards at a couple of its incarnations.

better call and tell them you are coming. most action players are in during the day time. there arent many to start with.

maybe say what you will play for and someone from fremont or elsewhere might drive over. other wise you may not even get a table and place full of fun players on a sat. night.

San Francisco used to be great.

Now your better off leaving the doors to your car unlocked and some cash behind with a note begging them not to smash your windows for fun.

They have turned that place upside down!

I used to play at California Billiards in Mtn. View a long time ago. Was in there during an earthquake. All the lights were swaying in unison. It was quite a sight!

I wondered how long it would take for someone to make a dumbass political comment.
If you are referring to the comment about the crime in SF, it is 100% correct and the only political connection was made by you. I spent 5 days in SF a couple of years ago and will not go back, it was disgusting and the crime was out of control. Reminded me of a visit to NYC in the mid 80s. Hopefully eventually it will work itself out, because it is an awesome city.
