Hello good people!

I'm now living in South Carolina in the Charleston/North Charleston area. Where do I go to play? What's out there... tournaments, leagues, etc.?

Thanks for any help!!

A big HEY and a HUG to all my friends in California... I miss you and love you!!

Loretta...APA is active in Charleston. Check the APA website (www.poolplayers.com) for the league operator, who can tell where to sign up. There's a decent poolroom in Mt. Pleasant. I don't remember the name of it, as it's been about 3 yrs since I've been there, but they have both barboxes and 9' tables...and it's the only place in Mt. Pleasant.

I live in Charleston and the only pool room is Player's Place West Ashley on Sam Rittenburg Blvd. They have 7', 8', and 9' tables and food. The attention is on pool leagues especially the APA and some BCA league play. No tournament action to speak of except for bar tables. There are MANY bars with 7' pool tables and pool league action. Unfortunately Charleston doesn't have a real 9' table pool hall and it saddens me since the Charleston/North Charleston area is so large. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help you two!!

Guess I should start buying lottery tickets and start planning a Charleston pool room with 9' footers, eh? ;)
