Looking for a place with decent equipment, maybe a weekly 8 ball tournament to knock a few balls around. Visiting in the area after first of year for a month or 2.

Thanks

I think Billiards of Springfield is the best or only room for that. Lots of 9-foot tables in good condition. Good food. Reasonable prices. I thought they had tournaments but their website doesn't say so.

There is also Anytime Billiards, which is more a membership room, but is available 24/7. I don't think they have tournaments.

There is a place called South Bound Billiards that just opened up, here is their address: 5739 S. Campbell Suite D, Springfield, MO, United States, Missouri.

If you make it to the Joplin area (60 miles west of SGF on I-44), there's the old 'OK Bar & Grill'; it was a survivor of the Joplin tornado; it's been there since Jesus was in diapers. I haven't been there in years, but always had decent equipment, good food, and just a fun place to play. Tables were 9' GC's and plenty of them.

One of my favorite AZers played at Billiards of Springfield….Tramp Steamer…..God rest him.

Think they only have a couple GC's now. They have a mix of GC's, D'mond, Valleys and an old B'wick snooker.
