Where to purchase Moori tips

Hello All! This is my first post here. I am curious for you moori tip users where do you buy them in the U.S. I have an buddy, who says that a third gen moori medium tip is like 50 dollars. I told him that I had seen many of the tips for anywhere from 10-20, never fifty. He told me that those were probably knockoffs or not real. I find this hard to believe when I have seen these on reputable cue maker sites. Could someone here point me in the right direction of a reliable source to buy these tips. I dont want to be taken by someone who I thought was a "pool" friend. thanks

I think I remember sending my shaft to viking or predator, and for 30$ they smacked one straight on.. Very happy with it :D

But if you look hard enough on ebay, and if you buy it from the right person.. Their are a lot of III Moori tips for sale, most are in bundles... Check their feedback and do some research.. Thats the cheapest they come I guess

Atlas Billiards, $10 per piece

$9.50 per tip & fair shipping!.

Paypal accepted as well.

The price of the tip and the price of an installed tip are two different things. I charge 35.00 for a moori tip installed but that includes cleaning and polishing the shaft, taking out dents and guaranteeing the tip will never come off till it's wore out. Cue repairmen must keep an inventory of many types of tips which means a lot of money tied up. Your tip installation helps pay for inventory, rent , utilities, phone, ins. and everything else that it takes to have a shop. The price of tips fluctuate with supply and demand. About 7 years ago, when Moori's were hard to get, they were charging a 125.00 for one installed at the U.S. Open. Nobody thinks anything about 10 to 15.00 to have a LePro installed and they only cost about a quarter.

Check with Ted Harris he use to have em at a Good Price

Mooris cost around 15 euros = $18 here. And no knock-offs, real Mooris. Though I've seen Talisman laminated knock-offs here, they were pure crap. All few tips I put delaminated right away. So beware for knock-offs.

thanks guys for your replies! I do not mind if my tip changer charges me more to put the tip on. Because then he will clean up the shaft and work on nicks and stuff like that. My only problem was he was telling me just to have a tip in his hand was like 45-50, no install. I respect everybodys opinions, and I ordered from nielsens billiards(joerackem) and the tips are working out great.
