I just made my reservations at the Riviera for the 9th-13th. Always nice to have a place to go relax between matches and not have to drive around town after a few too many Jagers. If I am still in the singles by then I will find a place for Tuesday night as the Riv was full for that night.

Where are you guys staying?

I am staying at a Condo just a couple miles away from the Riv. I will be there from the 13th through the 17th. $80 bucks for the whole time.

2 bedroom Penthouse, at the Mirage. 1200 sq. feet of pure satisfaction. Just kidding, although it is nice. Was lucky enough to stay there once. I usually like to stay close to the tournament, possibly Circus Circus, so i'm able to walk to the Riv.

Desert Paradise Resort - it is a timeshare as well. I am staying with some friends from Phoenix.

Circus Circus

The Riv was booked so I am staying at the Circus Circus the 9th thru the 12th. Head back the 13th, play in divisional APA finals on the 14th. Need to qualify for City's so I can come back in Aug for the APA team tournaments.

I'll be at the Riv - May 8th through the 17th.
I am hoping to get one of the newly remodeled rooms they were advertising. :)

I am sleeping on the 4th level of the parking garage out back of the Riv.....I am going to take daily free showers offered in 15 minute intervals front of the Bellagio......

Actually, I am staying at the Somerset...$300.00 for the time 9-17th. I have heard it is walking distance to the Riv. (supposedly right behind it)

hearsay is its been there since forever, but it has a kithen-ette, and a balcony...and only $300.00....

I have never taken the time to check out some of the smaller hotels around the RIV. I would be curious to hear people's review of their stay after they return.

I hate the RIV but with traffic in Vegas, feel forced to stay there. Taxi lines outside of a hotel can be 30-45 minutes & the ride down the strip or even on the roads behind the strip can be just as long.

Ever heard of the "west gate flamingo bay"? Any clue how far it is from the RIV?

I always stayed at the Ho-Ho (Westward Ho, sniff, sniff, a little tear in my eye. May she rest in peace.) for years because that's where the gang from Texas hung out plus it was cheap since I really don't spend much time in the room when in Vegas.

Since they tore her down, I stay at the Riv. It's nice since I can get drunk and still fall down the stairs and roll into the tourney room for my matches. LOL

I'll be there from the 8th through the 18th. See ya'll there!

Staying at the Hilton right across the street from the Riv. It's a little more expensive, but it's really worth it. I LOVE the Hilton.
