Wheres the announcement then?

There is

suppose to be an anouncement made today (Monday). I suspect that KT will address those issues in his anounceemt, as well as other things.

Usually though, it comes a little late in the day.
 
I designate Mondays as IPT day. It's the day of the week that the IPT feeds us more fodder for the coming week's worth of discussion, vilification, anguish and general consternation. Not generally regarded as a good revenue stream it is apparently good entertainment and produces lots of traffic. AZ Billiards even made the Phillipine press.

I am sure no matter when it comes, it is going to sound all pretty........
I am also sure it is not going to include the police report filed on deno in reno..
or that they finally incorporated IPT like is stated on the report of the website the expires next year........
Also that the man that is supposedly buying this tour is in a court battle over a company he is trying to take public or that there are suspiscions that he had the lawyer on the other side beat up................

Deno confirmed verbally on the phone with Eydie that Chicago has been "postponed".

Deno was not happy that A) she used the word "cancelled" and not "postponed", and B) he was angry because they weren't ready to tell us. They were going to wait until they had a rescheduled date before they made the announcement.

Nothing like waiting around while people buy plane tickets to Chicago for a tournament that they're "postponing". :rolleyes:

My guess is that they'll announce it in their "announcement" tonight. At this point they have to whether they like it or not.

I always thought that I was a fairly reasonable and rational person, now, here I am anxiously waiting for an "announcement" from Kevin Trudeau, a person with zero credibility, and probably couldn't say anything truthful if it were written on his French cuffs!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the only thing of any substance whatsoever will be the announcement that Chicago is "postponed".

There will not be a definite answer on the "Ho deal" (I think KT used Ho for a different reason... it's short for HOSED). There will not be a definite answer on the checks... there will not be a definite answer on anything.

It'll simply be another "announcement" full of a lot of words that ultimately say nothing..... just like the rest.

Do you think Deno just may not have information yet? He may be waiting just as we are? He is an employee and would be liable by the company especially if he is an officer. Giving out subjective or unconfirmed information would cause more harm to him.

Just some thoughts.

Eydie asked him point blank "When were you going to announce/tell the players, that the event was "postponed"?

His answer was "when we had a new date scheduled."

Not verbatim but as she relayed it to me.

This tells me that Deno was very much in the know about the Chicago event. It also tells me that they don't have the common decency to think about the IPT members that were in dire need of buying their tickets before they became outrageously expensive. (ask Colin)

IMO, and I'm simply guessing here... They probably didn't want to announce it because it might hurt their qualifiers even more. Instead of doing the right thing (why should we expect them to) and at the very least say "It's postponed, we're currently looking for another date, please do not buy airline tickets at this time. We will announce the new date and/or venue as soon as we have one confirmed."

That wouldn't have been so hard and it would've been the right thing to do.... nope, not the IPT... they wanted to string everyone along for as long as they could. Sorry, these guys have not done anything in the last two months for me to give them any benefit of any doubt on anything.
